When I was 19 and not sure what to do with my life, my dad prompted, "why don't you get your real estate license?". I didn't have any other ideas, so why not. A lot of people think real estate is about homes, I quickly learned it is about people. Being guided by a fantastic mentor, in my first 2 years I worked and closed 12 contracts during COVID-19. Arguably the most unique two years in recent real estate history, I learned a lot. Still young, I wanted to navigate other industries, and I moved towards finance and lending. I worked as a loan officer specializing in consumer lending, focused on mini mortgages and HELOCs. After almost three years in lending, I found myself merging my real estate experience with my time at the bank to work in the payments industry. I specialized in international real estate transaction payments, helping clients buy or sell properties in different countries. In all 3 jobs I stayed connected to realtors, title companies, lenders, and most importantly the clients that brought them all together.
Day in and out, that is what I enjoyed. Fostering connections between agents, clients, and all other real estate professionals. I always wanted to bring more than an offer letter or pretty listing photos. This is the biggest transaction of people's lives! And so, I found a way to become a trusted resource and advisor through connection. Now I want to help agents do the same and elevate the client experience of life's greatest transaction.
